Literacy arouses hopes, not only in society as a whole but also in the
individual who is striving for fulfilment, happiness and personal benefit by
learning how to read and write. Literacy... means far more than learning how to
read and write... The aim is to transmit... knowledge and promote social
participation.
OBJECTIVES
Globalization
during the 20th century gave rise to the importance of NGOs. Many problems could
not be solved within a nation.
We(JMJPS),
concerned with poverty alleviation, might provide needy people with the
equipment and skills to find food and clean drinking water.
There is a growing movement
within the non-profit and -government sector to define itself in a more
constructive, accurate way. Instead of being defined by non words,
organizations are suggesting new terminology to describe the sector.
